Company Background

John Millard - John began pig breeding in 1959 and currently farms near Cambridge, England. He started exporting in 1962 and, using his natural flair for pig improvement, still travels internationally to give personal advice and support to his customers.

Achieving top progeny results from 1963 on the UK Central Testing Scheme and rigorous on-farm testing ensures rapid, continuous improvement.

Exhibiting Large White pigs at the Royal Smithfield, Britain's leading meat Show, he won 13 Supreme Championships and 30 Championships and for 8 years in succession his pigs won Supreme or Reserve champion in the Live/Dead competitions.

John Davy - John farms near Huntingdon, England, and started to develop the Welsh Landrace breed in 1973. He has won the premier awards at all the major UK shows, including six Supreme and fifteen Championships at the Royal Smithfield Show.

John has developed his unique special Welsh Landrace Motherline with strong legs. They mature earlier, milk better and rear more pigs. Crossed with the Motherline Large Whites, they provide customers with a superior commercial gift.

Chris Jackson who farms near Stafford has a nucleus Large White herd specialising in Maternal Lines and promotes JJ Genetics worldwide.

Angus Brown farms near Northampton and has very fast growing Terminal Lines, with the best boars achieving 90 kilos @ 98 days. He also has Maternal Lines for JJ Genetics

Robin Hughes-Parry - Veterinary Consultant Surgeon Pigs from J J Genetics are of a high health status. They can provide both PRRS negative, Mycoplasma pneumonia free and PRRS challenged stock. Their herds are continually monitored to ensure their health status is maintained.
